The UK is a global leader in offshore wind with over 10GW of installed capacity, with an aspiration of achieving 40GW by 2030 as part of the UK Offshore Wind Sector Deal. In the longer term, the UK could achieve 75GW by 2050, in line with the Government’s commitment towards net zero.
